The fabulous Perpignan garnet in lucky clover form! These special jewels are trademarked and made only in that area of Catalonia France. There have only ever been a small handful of makers in all the world at a time that were trained in the multi step process of creating these special pieces.

This is an antique one from the Victorian I purchased when I visited Perpignan last year, the day I went to the jewelry exposition / display - (feel free to ask me about this, I have tons of information about them I can share but don't want to overwhelm the listing).

This was a stick pin converted to a pendant which is excellent as it was lightly worn and is in excellent condition. No hallmarks but crafted in 18k gold which is the standard in France so they are always fabricated this way.

These older ones read more purple in color with a lighter pinkish glow from within. Excellent pendant or bracelet charm.

Any chains / props not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs 1 gram. 17mm including the attached loop by 14mm wide.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Patina to the gold, most of my buyers prefer original but it could easily be polished once to brighten it up for another 100 years.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
