Antique Blue Moonstone ORB Victorian Dangle Earrings Buttercup Prongs 14k Rosy Gold Glowing Drops
ABOUT:
Victorian moonstones are such a treat. With the glow of the blue when they catch the light, and these in the shape of little orbs held in buttercup prongs for each earring. These little danglers are crafted in 14k gold with a rosy hue. The ear wires have a catch at the back to secure them and a little swirling antique design detail leads down to the moonstone setting which is connected by loop to dangle freely.
No hallmarks remain but tests at 14k gold.
Antique boxes, chains, props in photos is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
17mm top of ear wire to bottom of the setting, the ear wires extend a little lower.
1.4 grams
The stones are about 3.8mm diameter for scale.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Some surface wear and patina but a nice sheen and polish overall with a beautiful glow. The catches work very well, but they are dainty. The prongs holding the stones are in good shape so they are well set in that regard but we don't recommend 24/7 wear with this type of fabrication.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
